Happy Christmas Reader !

25 December 2007

Well hopefully there’s more than one reader lurking somewhere on this Blog.

To whoever does read this blog, I hope you have a happy Christmas and a great New Year – both on a personal front and of course on the exercise & endurance front.

Santa was good to me this year, and the three budding triathletes in our house all expressed extreme satisfaction with the presents delivered by the big bearded one. The bank manager perhaps not as positive as these were quite big presents, but as the Visa advert would say … their faces ‘priceless’.

Big Man a.k.a MK – thanks for the repeated readings and your regular comments … your interest and feedback is very welcomed, and together we WILL get across both the start and the finish line next July … whatever else happens in the meantime!

Everyone else – don’t be shy, please do leave a comment … and particularly drop in a line of advice, perspective, whatever …

Stay tuned and keep reading … the journey is now going to get interesting now as we turn into the New Year, the training is going to get serious, the injury has healed (I hope) so we’re off … [Sorry - that should be more my new year's resolution piece !]

Brought on somewhat as I noticed that i’ve only seven months to go and i need to start to get my plan together with a view to January 1st being really ready to rock. I’m coming back from a bout of sickness so its a good time to consider what i want to do, and how i’m going to do it. Read the rest of this entry »

Week 10 – Summary (to 9th Dec)

14 December 2007

The worst week so far – rollup for all the normal excuses, with the problem being that they all happened at the same time. However in hindsight, it is probably better that they did come together so that the effect was lessened… looking back i wasn’t feeling so well after what should have been a relatively straight-forward Turbo Z2 session, so i was probably coming down with something even then.
