Another swim oriented week, with minimal biking and of course no running. The most notable aspect in the week was probably the physiotherapy. I had a session on Monday lunchtime, and coming out of it I felt really good … within the massage part she had found the ’spot’ a couple of times – nearly jumped up to the roof – so its not just in my head. I also bought a FoamRoll for use at home. When i was in Riverview this simple piece was always used after a running session, and was great in ensuring no nasty after effects. I see Mark Dowling is using them big time in his blog <here>. Week 7 – Summary (to November 18th)
17 November 2007A bad sign – i’m actually writing up the week’s details before the end of the week. Another week with injury – the trouble flared up again after 5-10 minutes of light running. And to boot our company came out with a small round of redundancies. I could see this coming to be honest, as since we were taken over there have been little or no sales coming in. Save the Cheerleader – save the world!
17 November 2007I’m not watching much TV these days, yes the box might be on, but its a case of flicking through the channels with little-or-nothing of interest actually on show.
Apart from this one program which now has me well and truly hooked … its called HEROES. A girl at work was raving about it months ago when it came out first; and my initial reaction of course was “yeah right”, more stories about superheroes with special powers … however about 3 odd months ago i came across it one evening late on BBC and since then where at all possible Wednesday evenings are HEROES night.
