Week 3 – Summary (to 21st October)

The momentum is now gathering strength … my swimming regularity has increased big time, the new runners are unleashed, and still the bike remains in the study relatively clean and begging for a ‘ride’.

In this week I actually met my likely Coach for the season, and met up with the IronLads for an off-road session, well actually a feed of pints session.

Not a huge amount of training, but some good talking with both Peter and the Lads to set up the next wee while, and ensure I’m not losing the plot.

Week 3 – what’s going on in my world?

Welcome once again to my world … a bit of a change with this posting, not the normal auld shit about kilometres, gearing, split times and heart rates. Just more a couple of notes about different aspects to the world of Yendor outside of training training training… feel free not to bother reading the rest of this article, perhaps its a bit too gay?

Week 2 – Summary (to 14th October)

The difficult second – its always easy to start off with the first session, the first blog entry, the first date, the first child, however can you turn the initial effort and interest into a sustainable operation … can I ? can I ?

Well a wee bit later in the week than planned, but here goes.. and thanks to one person asking where was the Week 2 report (you know who you are – and thanks!)

At the start of the week, I was actually feeling a wee bit tired, not so much from training but life in general – and being conscious of not going too hard too early I decided to take it somewhat easier for the week, and perhaps focus more on the planning aspects for the season ahead and get some swimming.
